Hey there! I’m a SAG actor, dancer, and photographer determined to break stereotypes and create nuanced portrayals of complex characters and stories in Hollywood! What I enjoy the most about my journey with acting is that I am forced to take risks, I am rewarded for my empathy, and it is a constant movement towards self awareness.
I came in to acting through the world of dance drama. I spent countless hours training in Indian classical dance (Bharatanatyam) from the ages of 6 through 18, and saw how an entire character could come to life with the slightest change in posture or body language. A few years later, the introduction of dialogue to acting opened up a whole new world of possibilities! I spent a summer at Yale School of Drama attending their Acting Conservatory and have taken multiple classes between Scene Study at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, Movement at Stella Adler Academy, Improv Comedy at UCB and many more!
Outside of acting I love to noodle around on my ukulele, play tennis, scream song lyrics in my car, and create parody videos on TikTok of old school Bollywood songs for my series “Bollywood on a Budget”!
Some recent projects include acting in “Unmothered” a short film that won at HBO APA Visionaries and is on HBO Max, workshopping a play called “Women of Zalongo”, being a series regular on Brat TV’s web series Attaway General, and keeping up with my TikTok series “Bollywood on a Budget” which has attracted millions of viewers!
